Being a biologist with a major in ecology, one of my main interests is the documentary photography of native communities, many of which – due to their location –  face various problems, such as drug trafficking, illegal mining, timber trafficking, land invasion, disappearance and assassinations of community leaders – all this with the complicity and silence of the – so many times- corrupted authorities from the government.
